Description: | Handmade seated dove with triangular legs and wide, flat body which is slightly convex on top and hollow underneath. Tail widens towards break. Sharp angle between beak and top of head. Underside shows that beak was formed by doubling over clay. Similar to KT 14-43 (Stillwell 1952, Corinth 15.2, cat. 14) from Deposit 6 of the Terracotta Factory. | |
