Description: | Moldmade seated dove with broad, rounded body and small neck. Hollow inside. Wings in slight relief, outlined by added grooves. Groove across wing separates wing cap from longer feathers, which are indicated by faint grooves. Stillwell (1954, Corinth 15.2, cat.5, p. 188) mentions that "a stray wing" from the same mold was also found in her excavations but does not mention a location. | |
