Description:   Lamp with flat bottom, 2 grooves; deep echinoid body, flat rim, concave disk with 5 small fill holes arranged in a circle; small air hole at base of nozzle; tapering nozzle offset by 2 grooves, with raised panel. Pierced vertical lug handle.
Decoration:   Rim: herringbone; disk: chi-rho monogram as Broneer fig. 52.6. 2 deep grooves on handle to base. Traces of light red slip over all.
Writing:   inscribed. Illegible letter on bottom.
Material:   Sandy tan clay with laminating surface with few fine white, black angular inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Clay: Yellower than 7.5YR 6/6 Slip: near 2.5YR 5/8
Condition:   Complete or intact. Intact except for surface flaking on body by handle and rim. Heavy burning on nozzle.
