Description:   Almond-shaped lamp with flat bottom, deep, straight flaring body, broad, ca. flat rim, square disk with 3 fill holes in 3 of 4 angles, broad channel with air hole leading to nozzle. Vertical lug handle, solid.
Decoration:   Bottom: incised leaf with double framing lines, 2 circles at base of handle. Rim: herringbone flanking sides 2 sides of disk,, concentric arcs framing channel, leaf-shaped ornament in angles beside handle. disk: small, indistinct cross with ribs in arms, flaring tips. Handle: 3 grooves on top, 2 on lower half.
Material:   Hard-fired, somewhat gritty clay fired dark red at core, dark gray-red-brown at surface, with numerous tiny white, sparkling inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Surface: slightly yellower than 5YR 4/2
Condition:   Complete profile. Intact except for front quarter with nozzle; broken at start of wick hole.
