Description:   Lamp with narrow flat bottom, deep flaring body, flattened mould seam, broad sloping rim, ring surrounding deep concave disk with central fill hole, air hole at edge of disk, large wick hole in nozzle framed by grooves. Dent in lower body made at time of manufacture.
Decoration:   Bottom: 2 grooves. Rim: wavy lines; disk: rosette with round tips, broken at nozzle. Handle: 3 grooves. Dull purplish red to black slip over all.
Material:   Moderately fine brown clay with few fine round white inclusions, very fine black.
Munsell Color:   Clay: Slightly redder than 7.5YR 5/6 Slip: near 5YR 4/4
Condition:   Complete profile. Intact except for hole in rim to lt. of handle; chip in side of nozzle. Glaze partly worn away.
