Description:   Howland type 23A lamp with low disk foot with concave undersurface, relatively low body with slight convex profile, tapering slightly to broad flat rim, sloping down to moderate fill hole; floor flat. Long nozzle, flat on top with small wick hole at tip. Horizontal band handle attached to body.
Decoration:   Black glaze over all.
Munsell Color:   Between 7.5YR 5/6 and 5YR 5/6
Condition:   Complete profile. Three joining frgts., complete profile; complete except for small part of body, handle. Glaze pitted. Burning on nozzle.
