Description:   Leaf-shaped lamp with flat bottom, steep body, pared seam, flat rim, channel surrounding deep concave disk with 5 fill holes; 2 pair grooves and air hole framing nozzle. Solid lug handle.
Decoration:   Bottom: 2 grooves framing signature, 2 small circles at base of handle; rim: herringbone; disk plain. Handle: 3 grooves on top only.
Writing:   inscribed. Inscribed on bottom, Greek: XIO/NHS square lunate sigma; beneath, branch ?
Material:   Moderately fine light reddish brown clay with frequent fine white and sparkling inclusions, fewer black.
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 6/6
Condition:   Complete profile. Single frgt., preserving intact lamp except for end of nozzle and small hole in disk. Heavy burning on right half of lamp and nozzle.
