Description:   Type XVI lamp with slightly concave, string-cut base, body with compound curve: straight flaring to max. diam. at H00.02, upper half concave to very slightly flaring rim. Broad sunken disk curving down to small fill hole. Fluked nozzle with large wick hole. Vertical strap handle attached to rim and body below max. diam. Slane Group II.
Material:   Cooking ware clay fired unevenly red-brown to black at surface, red below surface with frequent fine white inclusions, rare voids.
Munsell Color:   Below surface: 5YR 4/6
Condition:   Intact. Chips in rim. Burning on nozzle.
