Description:   Broneer Type VII miniature lamp with irregular untrimmed flat bottom, globular body, small raised rim with concentric groove around it, relatively large fill hole, medium length nozzle, flat on top with small wick hole. Similar to Lot 2087:1 (from Demeter and Kore). See also Isthmia III, p. 16, no. 123, pls. 3, 17.
Decoration:   Orange-red glaze on entire exterior except bottom, interior unslipped.
Material:   Fine light red clay with rare medium to large spherical rounded white lime, rare medium spherical rounded brown and red, and few medium sparkling inclusions.
Munsell Color:   2.5YR 7/6 (light red)
Condition:   Complete profile. Two joining frgts., complete except for small chip at end of nozzle. Glaze well-preserved. Traces of burning at nozzle.
