Description:   Lamp with flat base, convex flaring wall curves into round shoulder and continues into concave disk, small fill hole (Diam. 0.009), wick hole encroaching on shoulder, vertical strap handle. Similar to L 4826 (Corinth XVIII.2, p. 26, no. 9, fig. 1, pl. 1).
Decoration:   Black to reddish brown slip over disk, shoulder, and upper third of body, dripping down all the way to the base.
Material:   Fine light reddish brown clay with few fine sparkling inclusions and rare medium voids.
Munsell Color:   Clay: 5YR 6/4 (light reddish brown), Slip: 2.5YR 5/4 (reddish brown)
Condition:   Complete profile. Intact except for handle and nozzle, handle attachment preserved and traces of burning exist at preserved circumference of wick hole.
