Description:   Lamp with slight ring foot, double conical body, flat rim defined by raised ridges which continue and create channel on nozzle, depressed disk with fill hole. Semicircular lug handle (L. 0.028, W. 0.027, Th. 0.008), not pierced.
Decoration:   On rim within ridges, zigzag with dotted circles on the apices inside and outside. On disk four semicircles framing circles and separated by vertical lines, around fill hole. Line on channel on nozzle. On bottom, inside ring foot, a cross with flaring arms. Two lines running from foot to handle. Decoration as L 4279.
Material:   Fine red clay with rare medium white inclusions.
Munsell Color:   2.5YR 5/6 (red)
Condition:   Complete profile. Eight joining fragments preserve full profile, missing upper left side of shoulder and disk and the whole nozzle. Burn marks on nozzle.
