Description:   Moldmade, Broneer Type XXVIII lamp with round base, convex body, slightly convex rim, circular concave disk, with framing groove and ring and central fill hole with raised framing ring. Rounded knob handle, unpierced, interrupted at mold seam, but continuing down to the base.
Decoration:   Rosette with multiple concave petals on disk, vine on rim (Karivieri 1996, Rim Type 3). Two circular grooves on base. Three transverse grooves above and two below on handle; incised leaf at base of handle.
Material:   Hard fired, friable gray clay, fired light reddish brown at core, with laminar breaks, darkened on outside in reducing atmosphere. White inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Surface: 5YR 5/1 (gray), Core: 5YR 6/4 (light reddish brown)
Condition:   Complete profile. Single fragment. Handle end of lamp, with 50% rim, disk, and base preserved; no nozzle.
