Description:   Lamp with slightly convex base with rounded resting surface, convex body to horizontal rim and slightly concave disk with small round fill hole (Diam. 0.005), squat nozzle with round wick hole (Diam. 0.011). No handle. Shape similar to Isthmia III, no. 2372 but plainer.
Decoration:   Single groove around disk, one volute on either side of base of nozzle. Partially covered in gray-black glaze.
Material:   Medium coarse pinkish brown clay with few small angular tabular light gray, white and orange inclusions with rare small voids.
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 7/4-6 (pink to reddish yellow)
Condition:   Complete profile. Single frgt., preserving most of base and body and all of nozzle. Traces of burning at nozzle.
