Description:   Lamp with flat leaf-shaped bottom, vertical body with convex profile, flat rim, concave disk with 4 fill holes in 4 corners of cross, air hole at edge of disk, wick hole framed by 2 grooves, tapering nozzle, partly pierced lug handle.
Decoration:   Bottom: 2 grooves, impressed circle at top and bottom; rim: herringbone; disk: monogram, rho to rt., impressed circles at tips and center of cross. Handle: 1 groove on bottom half.
Writing:   inscribed. Possible signature inscribed on bottom: central vertical stroke, O to rt. below which possible lunate sigma.
Material:   Semi-fine clay fired light red on top to brown on bottom with common fine white, red and sparkling inclusions.
Munsell Color:   5YR 5/7 to 7.5YR 5/3
Condition:   Complete profile. Complete profile except for center of floor; large hole in bottom, missing top of handle. Burning on nozzle.
