Description:   Mouldmade lamp with flat, leaf-shaped bottom, deep body with flaring, almost straight sides, slightly sloping rim, concave disk with central filling hole, air hole behind wick hole on rim, knob handle on rim and on lower half a ridge extending to base with two grooves. Webbing.
Decoration:   Base: leaf-shaped double incised line with two circles at rear and one at point. Within, stylized branch with a letter on either side, incised circle below letter on right. Rim: indistinct mouldmade pattern, foliate band? scroll? Two incised circles flank air hole. disk: rosette.
Writing:   inscribed. Inscribed on base a 'C' to left of branch, to right a horizontal 'E' as omega.
Material:   Hard red clay slightly gritty in texture, many white inclusions, Broneer fabric type II of lamp type XXVIII
Munsell Color:   Between 2.5 YR 6/6 and 5/6 (break)
