Description:   Lamp with vestigial base ring offset by grooves, deep convex body, pared mould joint, flat rim, 2 grooves and ring surrounding deep disk with central fill hole; air hole at edge of disk; nozzle as Broneer fig. 49.4; solid lug handle, smeared at mould seam.
Decoration:   Rim: panels with hatching, double concentric arcs flanking handle and nozzle, 2 grooves framing nozzle. Handle: 3 grooves to base. Dull red glaze over all.
Writing:   inscribed. Inscribed on bottom: E
Material:   Fine light red clay with frequent fine red, fewer white inclusions, some voids.
Munsell Color:   clay: 5YR 5/6 Glaze: near 2.5YR 4/8
Condition:   Complete profile. Single frgt., preserving complete except for nozzle and adjoining right side.
