Description:   Leaf-shaped lamp with flat bottom, deep straight flaring body, sloping rim, concave disk with small central fill hole, small air hole in side of disk near handle. Pierced vertical lug handle.
Decoration:   Bottom: incised branch, flanked by 2 small circles, Alpha at handle end; rim: wavy lines; disk: chi-rho monogram in relief, rho to lt., ring of impressed dots around edge of disk. Discoloration on interior.
Writing:   stamp. Base: Broken bar Alpha or ligature of Alpha Mu
Material:   Hard-fired clay, fired gray-brown at surface, pinkish tan at core.
Munsell Color:   Surface: 10YR 6/2.5 Core: 7.5YR 6/4
Condition:   Complete profile. Single frgt., complete profile; missing small part of base, nearly half body, half rim, disk, all of nozzle.
