Description:   Lamp with base ring, body curving out and up vertically to projecting flange at mould joint, broad flat rim, concave disk offset by groove, narrow channel to nozzle, nozzle articulated from body, large wick hole surrounded by flat panel. Bottom half of a lug handle.
Decoration:   Rim: herringbone; disk: rosette with blunt-tipped petals.
Material:   Fine hard-fired red clay with rare fine white inclusions.
Munsell Color:   5YR 4/6
Condition:   Complete profile. Single frgt., complete profile except center of disk; missing 1/4 rim, center of disk, top of handle. Burning on nozzle and around fill hole.
