Description:   Lamp with deep flaring body, broad rim rising slightly, with panels. 2 grooves surrounding shallow concave disk. Vertical lug handle pierced and grooved.
Decoration:   In low relief on disk, Hermes standing frontally with head in profile to rt. Nude, except for petasos, holding caduseus in lt. hand. On rim impressed ovules.
Material:   Fine light pinkish-buff clay, a few sparkling inclusions (OB: micaceous).
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 6.5/4
Condition:   Fragment. Four joining frgts., preserving 1/4 body circum., rim and less of disk, stump of handle.
