Description:   Lamp with 2 grooves surrounding flat bottom, deep straight flaring body, flat rim, ring surrounding deep concave disk with at least 1 small fill hole off-center, solid lug handle.
Decoration:   Rim: plain except for panels. disk: Eros, with wings outstretched, preserving head, neck, head turned back to proper rt., under which a basket? Metallic red-brown slip over all.
Mythology:   Eros
Material:   Hard-fired light brown clay with common tiny voids, few fine white and subrounded red inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Clay: yellower than 5YR 5/6 slip: ca. 2.5YR 4/4
Condition:   Complete profile. Single frgt., complete profile except for center of disk; complete base, underside of nozzle, half body-rim 1/3 disk, all of handle.
