Description:   Lamp with base ring, straight flaring body, angular shoulder, narrow flat rim, ring framing shallow concave disk with 2 fill holes on horizontal axis, imperfectly punched air hole at edge of disk, nozzle enclosed in body with small wick hole. Solid lug handle.
Decoration:   Bottom: illegible pattern of triangles; rim: herringbone; disk: monogram with faint rho to lt., bar on either side of wick hole. Band of hatching on top of handle, 2 faint grooves on lower half.
Material:   Semi-fine red clay with frequent voids, fine white inclusions.
Munsell Color:   5YR 4.5/6
Condition:   Complete or intact. Intact except for thin flange along edge of rim on right side; burning on nozzle, half body, handle.
