Description:   Lamp with flat leaf-shaped bottom, 2 grooves; deep straight-flaring lopsided body, heavy mould joint, broad flat rim, groove around very shallow small disk with 2 fill holes on a diagonal; shallow broad channel with air hole, to small wick hole tapering nozzle, solid lug handle.
Decoration:   Bottom: incised branch; rim: wavy lines with a kind of dotted line framing channel; disk: monogram with rho rt., cross has flaring tips, impressed circle in center. Handle: 2 grooves to bottom, groups of concentric arcs incised at bottom.
Writing:   inscribed. ? Unintelligible letter to either side of branch on bottom: to lt., vertical stroke and poss. 2nd letter; to r. upside down V.
Material:   Semi-fine light red-brown clay with few fine white inclusions.

Condition:   Complete or intact. Intact; faint burning along wick hole.
