Description:   Lamp with leaf-shaped flat bottom, nearly vertical body, heavy mould joint, angular shoulder, flat rim, square concave disk with central fill hole, channel and air hole to large wick hole, tapered nozzle, solid lug handle.
Decoration:   Bottom: incised branch, 2 grooves; rim: herringbone, circles framing channel; disk: groove framing it, cross with impressed circles in arms, as Broneer fig. 52.1; handle: 2 grooves on top, 1 on bottom with 2 impressed circles at base.
Writing:   inscribed. Faintly inscribed on bottom, Greek: lunate sigma omega ?
Material:   Semi-fine red-brown clay with frequent fine white inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Slightly redder than 7.5YR 5/6
Condition:   Complete or intact. Intact. Faint burning on nozzle.
