Description:   Mouldmade lamp with flat base and base ring from which rises an indistinct rib at rear. Convex body, two halves of lamp very crudely joined. Narrow, sloping shoulder, slightly depressed flat rim, concave disk with central filling hole. Channel extends to wick hole. Raised ridge surrounds disk and channel. Pointed knob handle at rear.
Decoration:   Rim: mouldmade raised dots. disk: jewelled cross.
Material:   Hard-fired brownish red clay with mica, white lime inlcusions and small voids.
Munsell Color:   5YR 6/4
Condition:   Complete profile. Part of nozzle and front half missing. Rim around filling hole slightly broken.
