Description:   Lamp with low base ring, shallow convex body, flat rim impressed below perimeter of mould, shallow concave disk, with broad channel connecting to wick hole, large fill hole, somewhat off-center; U-shaped nozzle, large wick hole. Scar of handle on rim; rib below lug, extending to base ring.
Decoration:   Rim: faintly impressed herringbone. disk: indistinct pattern with perhaps only ring of dots.
Material:   Coarse clay fired brick-red below surface, dark gray-brown at surface, with scattered coarseinclusions, white and other.
Munsell Color:   Core: between 5YR 6/4 and 2.5Yr6/4 Surface: 7.5YR 4/2
Condition:   Complete profile. Intact except for handle. Burning on nozzle.
