Description:   Mouldmade lamp with base ring and raised rib extending halfway up rear of body from base, convex body, narrow sloping shoulder, flat rim, slightly depressed disk with two filling holes, shallow broad channel extending from disk to wick hole, long nozzle emerging from shoulder, knob handle at rear applied to shoulder and rim.
Decoration:   Rim: mouldmade decoration of four-petalled flowers alternating with circles of raised dots. disk: figure of running hound with a curved tail perhaps chasing a bird near base of handle, five sets of raised dots in squares, including one on channel.
Material:   Red micaceous clay with white inclusions.

Condition:   Complete or intact. Two joining fragments, complete.
