Description: | Lamp with low base ring, shallow convex body, broad rim, sunken disk with channel to nozzle and tall, slightly hooked knob handle. Large wickhole in nozzle and filling hole in disk; another hole in channel not pierced. Low ridge from base ring to handle. Ridge at join of upper and lower molds. | |
Decoration: | In sunken panels on rim, pair of palm branches. Disk has cross with open, flaring arms and dots in lower quadrants. Base: raised cross with arms ending in a fork. Cf. Garnett 1975, no. 30, p. 199 for a related series. | |
Material: | Hard fired reddish brown fabric with moderate tiny white and sparkling inclusions, sparse round dark ones. | |
