Description:   Broneer Type XXVIII lamp. Rim flat, disk slightly concave. Interior shows signs of hand modeling.
Decoration:   Rim panelled herringbone pattern. Framing ring with two grooves on either side separates disk from rim. Within disk, symplegma scene of woman and horse on couch, woman half-reclining and horse on top. Couch draped and pillowed. Similar to, but in better condition, than L-1467 (Broneer #1201).
Material:   Coarse buff clay with few small white and gray inclusions.
Munsell Color:   5 YR 6/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving half of disk, broken on all sides. No filling holes or nozzle preserved. Part of rim with traces of burning. Unglazed.
