Description:   Broneer Type XXII lamp with slightly raised base within circle, oblique wall, and narrow flat rim. disk is shallow and concave. Filling hole off-center below figural representation.
Rim profile as in Corinth IV.2, p. 74, fig. 34:6.
Decoration:   Very worn black to brown slip (7.5 YR 6/6). Nozzle has shoulder volutes. Three unevenly spaced light gooves forming framing rings between rim and discus. Within discus, a griffin gallops to the right.

Material:   soft slightly gritty very pale brown clay with few fine black inclusions
Munsell Color:   10 YR 8/3 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Complete profile. Two joining fragments preserve most of left half of lamp except tip of nozzle and handle. Slip almost completely worn.
