Description:   Mug with flat base, ovoid body. One vertical handle, rectangular in section, attaches to maximum diameter.
Decoration:   Wheel-ridging beginning max. diam. (0.031).
Material:   Hard, fine, red clay. 1-3% of red (0.5 - 1.5 mm), rounded, spherical; 1-3% white (0.25 - 1.5 mm) subrounded, spherical; 1% black (0.5 - 1.5 mm) angular, spherical; 1% (0.25 - 0.5) sparkling inclusions. Few, subrounded voids. Granular, conchoidal break.
Munsell Color:   2.5 YR 5/6 (red)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt preserves half of base and lower body, missing rim. Traces of blackened surface on base and lower body.
