Description:   Flaring rim with squared lip.
Decoration:   White slip and pale yellow glaze over all. Two thick lines incised in slip on inside edge of rim and just above it; another near lip, below which are three nested thin incised lines in “v” shape. Dark yellow glaze dot over “v”s. Similar technique to C-36-953 and Lot 747 + 749 : 2.
Material:   Fine light reddish brown to reddish gray clay, with rare very large rounded, spherical white inclusions, and rare medium voids. Similar to White’s Quartz-Biotite Group B4.
Munsell Color:   2.5YR 5/4 (reddish brown) to 5YR 5/2 (reddish gray)
Condition:   Fragment. One frgt., preserving rim. Glaze on rim has large chip.
