Description:   Mouldmade terracotta figurine of female figure. Hair, painted red or brown, parted in center, with small knot above forehead. Low forehead; large eyes with heavy lids; large nose; small mouth with thick lips. Fold on neck indicated by horizontal incision. Face painted in white slip or white paint, with red paint on lips. Figurine hollow. Traces of fingerprints from clay being pressed into mould and smoothed.
Decoration:   White slip or white paint on face, neck; red or brown paint on hair; red paint on lips.
Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay with frequent rounded spherical and tabular inclusions.
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving front of head and neck; large chip at proper right side of head. White slip or white paint covering face and neck; flecks of red paint preserved on lips; red or brown paint preserved on hair.
Period:   3rd c. B.C.
Context:   NB50 P33
Findspot Description:   From Roman fill S. of pronaos of Temple.
