Description:   Terracotta solid handmade group of four dancers moving in circle with arms joined around central standing flutist. Dancer has flat wide strip of clay applied around front of head as polos, clay overfold from back to front as head, semi-circular face, broad flat short neck curving into long flat strip arms, two pinched together, joining dancers, flattened chest, upper body tilted backward, slightly bulging belly, cylindrical body pinched in slightly before flaring as attaches seamlessly to base. Flat circular base with pared and smoothed edge. Fingerprints over whole piece. Similar to KT2-11 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 8 pl. 4) and KT2-7, 8, 9, 10 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 4-7 pl. 4).

Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay with light brown core with frequent fine sparkling and rare tabular angular orange inclusions and rare medium tabular angular voids
Munsell Color:   Surface: 7.5YR 6/6 (reddish yellow), Core: 7.5YR 6/3 (light brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Four joining pieces, preserving single dancer with both arms and quarter of base. Traces of white slip. Slightly rough clay.
