Description:   Terracotta solid handmade dancer from group moving in circle with arms joined around central standing flutist. Dancer has wide strip of clay applied around front of head as polos, clay overfold from back to front as head, triangular face, narrow flat short neck tilted to rt, flattened chest, long flattened clay strip arms, joining dancers, upper body tilted forward slightly, cylindrical body. Fingerprints on rt arm and face. Similar to KT2-11 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 8 pl. 4) and KT2-7, 8, 9, 10 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 4-7 pl. 4).

Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay with frequent fine sparkling, few small to medium tabular angular white and rare large tabular sub-rounded quartz inclusions and rare medium to large tabular angular voids
Munsell Color:   Clay: 7.5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining pieces preserving single dancer from head to just above base, part of rt and most of lt arm. Slightly encrusted.
