Description:   Terracotta solid handmade dog with body round in section, straight back, short thick back leg in inverted V position, and long thick tail pointed straight back. Similar to KT32-22 (Corinth XV.2 Class XXV Middle Group p. 180 no. 7 pl. 39) but tail flatter and straighter.
Decoration:   Two horizontal brown paint stripes on outer side of legs and traces of herring bone pattern radiating from central stripe along ridge of back to tail.
Material:   Fine very pale brown clay with frequent fine sparkling, few small tabular angular white, and rare medium tabular angular orange inclusions and few fine platy angular voids
Munsell Color:   Clay: 10YR 8/4 (very pale brown), Paint: 5YR 4/3 (reddish brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Single piece preserving body, part of l. and r. hind leg and tail. Some paint preserved.
