Description:   Terracotta handmade perching dove with sharp pointed beak, distinct brow ridge, large head, long high curved neck, pointed wide spread legs, long flat oval body, hollow underneath, and narrowing at slightly flaring fan tail. Similar to KT41-64, and KT41-87, and KT41-43 (Corinth XV.2 Class XXVII Late group p. 186 no. 14 pl. 42).
Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay with frequent fine sparkling and few small tabular angular white inclusions and few small platy angular voids
Munsell Color:   Surface: darker than 7.5YR 8/4 (pink), Core: 5YR 6/8 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Complete or intact. Three joining pieces missing tip of rt foot. Large chips at join between tail and body. Traces of white slip.
