Description:   Terracotta solid mouldmade standing female with wide flaring polos with slanted top, short band of hair framing forehead, long rectangular face, wide nose, thin neck, narrow sloping shoulders, lt shoulder slightly higher than rt, rt arm held tight to side, bent at elbow with forearm held across breast holding a bird (thin beak, small head, long neck, round chest, long conical body), rt thumb defined from fingers, lt arm held tight to side bent at elbow with forearm across belly, and lt hand bent up holding fruit with stem (pomegranate?). Wears peplos with low curving overfold with straight edge across thighs then drooping down on sides, long vertical folds fall from waist to overfold, three tiered long looping folds drape from rt elbow to forearm down to lower overfold, long lt sleeve loop falls from elbow to mid-forearm below with two narrow folds falling to overfold, and long even vertical folds fall straight from below overfold flaring slightly at hem to pool over top of feet. Feet flat on projecting rectangular base upturned on lt side. Piece cannot stand. Frontal mould with large depression on back. Similar to KT4-116 (Corinth XV.2 Class X p. 94 no. 33 pl. 16). Standing Kore with Dove and Fruit Type.

Munsell Color:   Clay: 7.5YR 6/6 (reddish yellow) and 7.5YR 7/4 (pink)
Condition:   Complete or intact. Four joining fragments. Slightly worn and pitted. Discolored. Traces of white slip.
