Description:   Terracotta solid handmade horse with neck oval in section, rt. Front leg straight, short cylindrical body, straight back with depressions for missing rider, straight hind legs in inverted U, and tail pinched against rear and then at point like a candle flame. Similar to KT28-98 (Corinth XV.2 Class XXIII p. 175 no. 29 pl. 37).
Decoration:   White slip overall. Traces yellow paint on Rt side of body and Rt hind leg.
Material:   Fine reddish yellow to very pale brown clay with few fine sparkling, few small tabular angular orange, and few medium tabular angular white inclusions and few fine tabular rounded and few small platy angular voids
Munsell Color:   Surface: 7.5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow) and 10YR 8/4 (very pale brown), Core: 7.5YR 6/2 (pinkish gray), Paint: 10YR 7/8 (yellow)
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining pieces missing head, rt front and part of back rt leg and rider. Discolored. Traces of white slip and paint.
