Description:   Terracotta solid handmade group of five or six dancers moving in circle with arms joined around central standing flutist. Dancer has flat strip as arm and cylindrical body. All three dancers have two pinched splayed feet attaching to base. Flute player has flat strip of clay applied around front of head as polos, clay overfold from back to front as head, semi-circular face, flute attached over face curving out and lt towards lt hand, broad short neck, flattened chest, round coil of arm attached at shoulder stretch forward to grasp flute, cylindrical body tilted backwards, flaring into wide splayed feet with extra piece of clay on lt side as attaches to base. Flat circular base with pared and smoothed edge. Similar to KT2-11 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 8 pl. 4) and KT2-7, 8, 9, 10 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 4-7 pl. 4).

Material:   Fine reddish yellow pink clay with pink core with few fine sparkling, rare medium to large tabular angular white, and rare small tabular angular black inclusions and few small tabular angular voids
Munsell Color:   Surface: 5YR 7/8 (reddish yellow) and 7.5YR 8/4 (pink), Core: 7.5YR 8/4 (pink)
Condition:   Fragment. Four joining pieces preserving one dancer from lower chest to feet, feet of one, foot of another, flutist (missing rt flute, rt arm, lt hand), and most of base. Discolored. Slightly encrusted.
