Description:   Terracotta solid handmade group of five to six dancers moving in circle with arms joined around standing central flutist. Dancer has broad short neck curving into small flat strips as arms to join with dancers, arms rectangular in section, flattened cylindrical chest and body curving backward. Both bodies of dancers flare into two pinched splayed feet attaching to base. Flat circular base with pared and smoothed edge. Similar to KT2-11 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 8 pl. 4) and KT2-7, 8, 9, 10 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 4-7 pl. 4).
Material:   Fine reddish yellow and pink clay with few fine sparkling and rare medium tabular angular red inclusions and rare medium to large spherical angular voids
Munsell Color:   Clay: 7.5YR 6/6 (reddish yellow) and 7.5YR 8/4 (pink)
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining pieces preserving one dancer from neck to base and part of lt arm, feet of another dancer, indentations for two more dancers and flutist and three-quarters of base. Encrusted.
