Description:   Terracotta solid handmade group of four dancers moving in circle around central standing flutist. Each dancer has body oval in section, flaring at bottom into two pinched flat splayed feet attaching to base. Flutist body rectangular in section. Roughly constructed oval base slightly tilted upward on two sides with dancers unevenly spaced. Similar to MF-11479.
Material:   Fine pink clay with rare fine sparkling, rare small tabular angular orange, and rare small tabular angular white inclusions
Munsell Color:   Clay: 7.5YR 8/4 (pink)
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining pieces preserving body on one dancer from waist to base, indentation of one dancer and stumps of two others and of the flutist and all of base except for small chip. Traces of white slip.
