Description:   Terracotta solid handmade group of dancers moving in circle with arms joined around flutist standing in center. Dancers and flutist have cylindrical bodies flaring as attaches to base. Flat circular base with pared and smoothed edge. Fingerprints on base and side of dancer. Similar to KT2-11 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 8 pl. 4) and KT2-7, 8, 9, 10 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 4-7 pl. 4).
Decoration:   Red paint on base.
Material:   Fine very pale brown clay with few fine sparkling and rare small tabular rounded red inclusions
Munsell Color:   Surface: 10YR 7/3 (very pale brown), Core: 7.5YR 7/1 (light gray), Paint: 10R 5/8 (red)
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining pieces (one larger piece joined from Lot 863 in 2007) preserving stumps of two dancers, flutist, and part of base. Traces of white slip and paint.
