Description:   Terracotta solid handmade group of five dancers moving in circle with arms joined around central figure. Dancer has flat strip of clay applied around front of head as polos, clay overfold from back to front as head, bulbous semi-circular face, broad short neck, flattened chest, long flat strips as arms joining dancers, rt arm larger than lt, upper body tilted outward slightly, cylindrical body flaring as attaches seemlessly to base. Flat circular base, slightly concave underneath central figure, with edge pared and smoothed. Fingerprints on base and bottom of dancer. Similar in size and style to KT2-11 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 8 pl. 4) and KT2-7, 8, 9, 10 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 4-7 pl. 4).

Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay with few fine sparkling and few medium to large tabular angular white inclusions and rare medium tabular angular voids
Munsell Color:   Clay: 7.5YR 6/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Fragment. Four joining pieces preserving one dancer with arms broken close to body, base and traces of four dancers and musician. Multiple chips on base. Encrusted. Traces of white slip.
