Description:   Terracotta solid handmade group of dancers moving in circle with arms joined around flutist standing in center. Dancer has wide flat strip of clay applied around front of head as polos, clay overfold from back to front as head, semi-circular face, broad flat long neck, flattened chest, long flat strip arms, pinched together with lt arm of adjoining dancer overlapping rt arm, upper body tilted backward, body, oval in section, flaring near bottom into two pinched splayed feet as attaches to base. Flat circular base with pared, smoothed edge. Fingerprints on lower body. Similar to KT2-11 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 8 pl. 4) and KT2-7, 8, 9, 10 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 4-7 pl. 4).
Decoration:   Red paint on side of base.

Material:   Fine very pale brown clay with rare fine sparkling inclusions and rare small spherical angular voids
Munsell Color:   Clay: 10YR 8/3 (very pale brown), Paint: 10R 6/8 (light red)
Condition:   Fragment. Single piece preserving dancer from head to feet with most of rt and part of lt arm and small section of base with edge. Slightly encrusted. Traces of white slip and paint.
