Description:   Terracotta solid handmade group of dancers moving in circle with arms joined around central standing flutist. Flute player has thick strip of clay applied around front of head as polos tilted down low to rt in front, clay overfold from back to front as head twisted to rt, triangular layer of clay rolls pinched together cover face then jut out into two separate thick rolls of double flute, flat strips of arms attached at shoulders, lt arm twisted inward to rounded hand attached to bottom of flute, and upper body leaning to rt, body oval in section, twisted to right, flaring into two pinched splayed feet and wavy skirt. Similar to KT2-6 and KT2-7(Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 4 pl. 4).

Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay with few fine sparkling and rare small tabular angular white inclusions and rare small to large tabular angular voids
Munsell Color:   Clay: 7.5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Fragment. Single piece preserving flutist from head to feet, missing rt arm and most of rt flute, broken at shoulder and at base attachment. Slightly encrusted
