Description:   Terracotta solid handmade group of dancers moving in circle with arms joined around central standing flutist. Flute player has wide flat strip of clay applied around front of head as polos, clay overfold from back to front as head, additional clay strip over face (mouth?) covering upper edge of clay rolls of double flute jutting out at angle, large flat strips of arms attached at shoulders, curving inward with each rounded hand attached to bottom of flute, upper body tilted backwards and cylindrical body flaring as attached to base. Fingerprints over whole piece. Similar to KT2-6 and KT2-7(Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 4 pl. 4).
Decoration:   White slip overall. Gray paint on whole figure except polos.

Material:   Fine very pale brown clay with few fine sparkling, rare small to large spherical angular gray and rare small to medium tabular angular red inclusions and rare medium spherical angular voids
Munsell Color:   Clay: 10YR 8/3 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Single piece preserving flutist from head to bottom and part of base. White slip and traces of paint.
