Description:   Terracotta solid handmade group of dancers moving in circle with arms joined around central standing flutist. Flute player has wide flat strip of clay applied around front of head as polos, clay overfold from back to front as head, additional clay strip over face (mouth?) covering upper edge of clay rolls of short double flute jutting out at angle, head and neck tilted backwards, thick round strips of short arms attached at shoulders, curving inward with each rounded hand curling over bottom of flute, and cylindrical body pinched in at bottom before flaring as attached to base. Fingerprints over whole piece. Similar to KT2-6 and KT2-7(Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 4 pl. 4).

Material:   Fine very pale brown clay with few fine sparkling and few medium tabular angular white inclusions and rare large tabular rounded voids
Munsell Color:   Clay: 10YR 8/3 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Single piece preserving flutist from head to bottom just before attached to base. Traces of white slip.
