Description:   Terracotta solid handmade group of dancers moving in circle with arms joined around central standing flutist. Dancer has flat strip of clay applied around front of head as polos, clay overfold from back to front as head, wide triangular face, short neck, small flat strips as arms, lt arm stretching out to join other dancers, flattened chest, body oval in section pinched in at belly qith upper body twisted rt, lower to lt, flaring into two pinched splayed feet. Trimmed base. Similar to KT2-11 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 8 pl. 4) and KT2-7, 8, 9, 10 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 4-7 pl. 4).

Material:   fine pink clay with few fine sparkling and few small tabular angular orange inclusions and rare medium platy angular voids
Munsell Color:   Clay: 7.5YR 8/4 (pink)
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining pieces preserving dancer from head to feet and small part of base. Missing rt arm, most of lt arm. Roughly constructed. Traces of white slip.
