Description: | Terracotta solid handmade flutist from group of dancers moving in circle with arms joined around central standing flutist. Flutist hasvthick strip of clay applied around front of head as large polos, clay overfold from back to front as head, triangular face, two thick strips of double flute cover part of face then curve out to each hand, broad long neck, round strips of arms attached at shoulder curve forward, rounded hands attached to bottom of each flute, flattened body, oval in section. Similar to KT2-5 and KT2-7, 8, 9, 10 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 4-7 pl. 4). | |
