Description:   Terracotta solid handmade dancer from group moving in circle with arms joined around central standing flutist. Dancer has thin flat strip of clay applied around front of head as polos, clay overfold from back to front as small head, very small semi-circular face, broad very long flat neck curving into long round strip arms, rt arm overlaps lt arm of adjoining dancer, pinched together, upper body tilted backward, cylindrical body flaring slightly as attaches to base. Similar to KT2-11 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 8 pl. 4) and KT2-7, 8, 9, 10 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 4-7 pl. 4).
Decoration:   White slip overall. Red paint on polos and thin horizontal band around part of neck.

Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay with few fine sparkling and rare medium to large spherical angular white inclusions and rare small spherical angular voids
Munsell Color:   Clay: 7.5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Fragment. Single piece preserving dancer from head to feet. Missing lt arm. White slip and traces of paint.
